Doctors

Vadim Edelstein, MD Board Certified Internal Medicine

When I first heard in one of the hospital rooms “this is my doctor” I suddenly realized why I have chosen to practice medicine. I like helping people, especially when they need it the most. It is as simple as that.

I graduated from medical school in 1984 and worked in a rural area of the former Soviet (now independent) Ukraine. In 1995, I completed the residency program at Saint Francis of Evanston, Illinois and in the same year passed the Board of Internal Medicine.

Since then, I work as a primary care doctor in Skokie, Illinois. I love both my office practice and hospital medicine, and I am always there for the many people who call me simply …”my doctor.”
